We preserve, replicate, and reproduce the old masterpieces, sometimes even from the facades of historical monuments. We take pride in our ability to create precise replicas of any bas-relief, regardless of the original material, thanks to our solutions. Our method allows us to take detailed, non-destructive surface samples.
With our solution, we are capable of capturing the patterns, bas-reliefs, or even sculptures from the walls and replicating them in modern, weather-resistant FRC material. Using 3D scanning and design, we can recreate forgotten architectural ornaments and bas-reliefs.
The material used in Sillmaster products also offers an excellent opportunity for the restoration of historic buildings. It is durable, long-lasting, and can be used to create unique motifs. It can adopt the style of the monument and remain historically accurate for a long time while maintaining modern quality.
FRC: The 21st century concrete. The acronym FRC stands for Fiber Reinforced Concrete, signifying fiber-reinforced concrete.
The special material exhibits high stiffness and flexibility even in thin layers. Fiber reinforcement in the products prevents and strengthens cracks. A chemical bond forms between the fibers and the concrete, significantly reducing material expansion due to heat.
One of the components is a hydrophobic additive, which makes our products waterproof. Our products have passed a 25-cycle freeze- thaw stability test.
Thanks to our process and FRC (Fiber-Reinforced Concrete) technology, we can replicate the original pattern in the most meticulous detail possible.
We use a 3D scanner to take samples from the wall. Silicone can be used to create a negative mold directly from the wall. Based on the original plans, we create a 3D computer model.
Silicone inside: This ensures the finest details on the finished product. The flexibility of the material allows for easy removal.
Composite reinforcement: This outer layer prevents
deformation due to internal pressure from the silicone interior.
Main Altar of the Reformed Church in Pesterzsébet
We recreated the wall
decorations of the Pesterzsébet Reformed Church designed by Bálint Szeghalmy,
which were only existent as blueprints when completing the church in 1937.
Using these blueprints as a starting point, we successfully created the ornaments
through 3D modeling. The historical monument can now shine in its full glory.
